The next City Council Election is May 6, 2023.

The Richardson City Council elections take place in May of odd years.

To vote in Texas, you must be registered. Simply pick up a voter registration application, fill it out, and mail it at least 30 days before the election date.

For the May 2023 election, voters who live in both Dallas County and Collin County may vote early (locations to be announced) in addition to any other early voting location in their county of residence.

Voter Registration:

To vote in the May election, voters must submit their voter registration application to the Voter Registrar of the county they reside in by April 6, 2023. Voter registration cards are available at the Richardson Public Library or the Texas Secretary of State website at http://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/voter/reqvr.shtml.

Early Voting Dates and Times:

Early voting for the election will take place April 24, 2023 – May 2, 2023. More information on early voting will be provided at a later date.

Election Day Information:

Election Day voting will take place Saturday, May 6, 2023, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at any Vote Center for the county you are registered in, Dallas or Collin.
